Low Density Polyethylene
Low–density polyethylene–an extruded material offering good corrosion resistance properties and low moisture permeability. It can be used in applications where corrosion resistance is a factor, but stiffness, high temperatures, and structural strength are not. It can be easily fabricated, vacuum formed, and welded. This material is an economical option for many applications requiring low temperature flexibility, toughness and durability. It is resistant to stress–cracking and has wide acceptability in transporting water and chemicals. Extrusion in black are recommended to improve durability in direct sunlight or outdoor exposure. Heat distortion temp.: 120°F. Color: milky.![]() |
