S-A-R is 45 times more abrasion resistant than uncoated acrylics. It remains haze-free even after years of rough service. In all glazing thicknesses, S-A-R is clearer than glass & it stays clear without yellow aging. It's impact and shatter resistance has been demostrated in hockey rink surrounds, vandal resistant bus windows, & bullet resistant glazing in banks. At half the weight of comparable thickness glass, designs are lighter, simpler, & less expensive. S-A-R exceeds the thermal insulation performance of glass with energy saving solar tints available on request.
