Manufactured with Tefzel® *, a resin that has improved mechanical properties over fluoropolymers such as PFA or FEP, Chemfluor® ETFE is resistant to abrasion, radiation and impact. The material is weather–resistant and inert to most solvents and chemicals. And, it has a continuous service temperature of 300° F.

Due to its mechanical properties, Chemfluor® ETFE can be used to manufacture valves, fittings, bearings, pump components and electrical coatings. Chemfluor® ETFE meets ASTM standard D3159.
